My First Video!! Copic background

Hi There!!  Wow so many of you have emailed me asking how I created the background on my strawberry card. I got brave and tried my hand at making a video for you. I hope you like it:) Here's the finished card.

Here's how I did it. The stamp is from Flourishes. For the background I used the following Copics

Timeless Tuesday Anniversary Challenge (FTTC52C)

I hope you have checked out all the fun things going on over at the Flourishes blog!

My challenge for you is to make a Fruity birthday card. You can use fruit stamps or

citrus colors as their inspiration....grapes, lemons, berries...etc.

Here's what I came up with:)

 

I used the Strawberry set for this card the sentiment is from the Tagline set. I colored the image with Copics. For the background I used Copics. I really love how it looks like a painting:)

Timeless Tuesday New Home!

Hi there! 

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC50)!  This week Betty Wright is our host.  Betty is challenging you to create a scene with stamps.  Flourishes has a lot of scene stamps to choose from, such as beach scenes, garden scenes, patio, to party scenes.  There are also several indoor scenes stamps from comfy cozy to formal.  You can also choose if it is daylight or nighttime in the scene you create.  Many possibilities.  So, this week we are all creating a scene!  We would love to see what you create!

Here is my take on the challenge. I used Cottage Home for my scene. I colored this image with Copics.

Timeless Tuesday Sketch

 This week Silke Ledlow is hosting. Silke is challenging us to a sketch she has designed. As far as sketches go, there is not much explanation necessary. You can turn it and enlarge the sections to fit your card size. However, in the end, it should still look like the sketch.

Here's what I came up. I used the chrysanthemum flower from the A Year In Flowers Calendar 3 set. I really loved the look of this flower uncolored with the Sahara Sand, Black and White color scheme. I also used one of my favorite punches made by EK Success.

Hi There!! Time for Timeless Tuesday

I hope you have had a great holiday and New Year so far... I'm feeling great and very excited to jump back in 2010!! Thank you for the prayers,thoughts and emails. Much love back at cha!!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC48)! This week Maki Jones is our challenge host.  Maki is challenging us to a color challenge.  Maki is giving us two colors and we have to choose one.  Sort of like a 2 +1 color combo.  The colors are black and yellow plus another color of your choice!  Have fun playing along with us.  We look forward to seeing what you create!

How fun  was this?  I hardly ever use yellow. I had some Crushed Curry cardstock laying around...is that yellow? LOL it is today:) I used the Autumn Flourishes stamped in black on the Crushed Curry cardstock. The main image uses the Thank You set. I used the following Copics to color Y18, Y11, Y1, YYG03, G28.

Happy Holidays & FTTC #47

Hi there!! What a year and unreal past few weeks. I haven't stamped in weeks as I've had some things going on. I'm THRILLED to say I got my new computer...however I have no clue how to use the photo program or most of all the bells and whistles it has!

I just adore my DH and the joy he brings to my life!! After many nights of coughing and NO sleep. I woke up at 1:27 p.m. Saturday to a fully lite and decorated tree. Christmas decorations everywhere!! I was like a child!! Enough about me...

 It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC47)!  This week Cindy Haffner is our host.  Cindy is challenging us to ATC or Artist Trading Cards.  These wonderfully sized trading cards 2.5 X 3.5 are perfect for making quick last minute cards.  If you make a bunch ahead of time all you need to do is add it to a card base.  Get creative with these trading cards and join us in the fun!  Here is a link  from SCS to give you alittle more insight into ATC.   We would love to see what you create!

I haven't made very many ATC cards so this was fun:) I used the smallest cherry image in the set. I colored it with Prisma Color pencils. Nesties, Distress ink and Kaiser Rhinestones finish it off:)

FLLC Timeless Tuesday!

Hi there! Wow can you believe it's almost Christmas? I hope you are more ready then I am! Yikes:)

It's time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC45)!  This week Cindy Haffner is our challenge host.  Cindy is challenging us to gatefold cards. Here are a couple of links to help you get started from SCS.  Gatefold 1 and Gatefold 2.  I really loved doing this challenge! This card came together pretty fast since I had already colored a bunch of these wreaths. On the panels I used stickers from the Christmas Jingle scrap kit. The sentiment is from the Dove and Holly set.

FLLC Timeless Tuesday (CAS)

Hi there!! Sorry for going MIA. I've had computer problems and some health problems too. Lucky for me I ordered a new computer!! I wish I could order up a new body LOL :) However I do feel better.

Oh how I LOVE coloring! I take images to appointments. I color in the bed while trying to be a good patient. I  color while watching tv. Hands down this Christmas Wreath set is my favorite at the moment. I colored this years cards to match my Christmas tree. I used Copics

Timeless Tuesday!!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC42)!  This week Silke Ledlow is our challenge host.  Silke is challenging us to a sketch she has designed. You can turn it and modify the shapes to fit your size card, but in the end, it should still look like the sketch. Thanks for a great sketch, Silke!!  We cannot wait to see what you all create. I had to switch a few things on the sketch my long panel and bow are switched. This was a fun sketch to work with.

On my card I used the Flourished Christmas stamp set. Designer paper from Basic Grey. Sheer Ribbon, Big Shot Die, and Brads. I colored this with Colored pencils.
